The Oeufs cocotte is very good, definitely my favors. The dessert chocolate mousse is great. Dense and good for sharing. The environment is very nice. Service is great. It is a great place for a date. Just found out that they now also serve dinner for 2 every Sunday add Wednesday. Took a look at the menu items. Very good. Definitely will come back.

Our server was named Yvonne. It's located on a quiet small street. Parking is a bit difficult. It wasn't busy in the morning. It's great for celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. I've always enjoyed their special menu. We ordered what they called Epernay burger, which has cult. Ground beef that's made from Patty, gruyere and caramelized, onions, mushrooms, arugula, and house aioli and I got the truffles fries.(5/5) We've also ordered the Frites au voef bourguignon and we were longing for some beef. The mushroom short ribs are delicious.3.5/5 Our soup we got the soupe a loignin French onion soup comete melted into the bread, well-made.4/5 Lastly, we got escargot which is reasonably priced snails with butter

Service Service Service! Food and Wine were also delightful. Everyone that helped us, including the owner and servers were friendly and genuine. The restaurant was initially lightly filled, so we expected that we'd get good service if they just showed up at the table. We asked that they let us move slowly through several courses of food, champs & wine. They accommodated our wishes and exceeded every expectation. We ordered the Pink vs Pink vs Pink, which gave us a nice juxtaposition of California vs. French bubbles. I had a Pol Roger (easy standby). Finished with Beignets and sherry. Wonderful couple of (2-3) hours of eating/drinking/talking. Will be back soon and likely often.

We came here for a date night and loved the food, but a bit dismayed by the service. Small narrow restaurant but the tables are spaced out in a way where we had ample of privacy for our date. The most disappointing part of this place was the service. The waitress did not seem interested at all in serving us, and when she finally did come by would put on THE fakest smile. When you have $500 caviar on the menu (not that we ordered it...) the service better sweep you off your feet! Regardless, we enjoyed the food and drinks. I liked my red wine (though there aren't too many options for red wine by the glass), and appreciated that they offer half glass additional pours, so you can sample various wines within a more reasonable budget. The salmon pate was a nice appetizer to start with, easily spreadable. My husband loved his french onion soup which had ample amounts of melted cheese on top for me to steal. We also had the burger which was cooked to perfection and very juicy. I absolutely loved my Sole fish dish. I am very critical about fish being too thin or too dry etc, but this was a decent sized super juicy cut.

Glad I got to cross Épernay Bistro off my list of places to try, and it was a huge plus that the overall experience was delightful. My husband and I were on a double date with our friends, so I appreciated the restaurant's intimate ambiance. This place was the most authentic when it came to service. We were at dinner for nearly 3 hours, which reminded me of Paris. The food took a long time to be prepared, and I felt that the wait staff was not as attentive. As long as you're not in a rush, champagne it up and enjoy hearty conversations at your table while waiting a while for your orders. We ordered a couple of appetizers including a charcuterie board and bacon wrapped dates stuffed with cheese. My favorite among the apps was their selection of cheeses. They tasted fresh and had very distinct flavors and textures: a type of hard cheese, a semi-soft like a manchego, a tart and creamy one like goat cheese, maybe a sharp cheddar?, and definitely a soft brie-like cheese. The entrees were fantastic. 3 out of the 4 of us got a beef bourguignon, and I got the filet. The beef bourguignon was incredibly tender, but I did think it could've used a little more salt. My filet, however, was excellent with every bite. The meat was cooked to medium rare perfection, and I enjoyed the other elements on my dish, such as the onions and potato 3-cheese puff pastry. Lastly, we had a few desserts to share. Épernay's chocolate mousse was decadent. It was thick and dense like brownie batter. Their beignets, which were like little pillows, were fine.

Love the bistro atmosphere and the food there. The peach salad with shrimp (summer special) is pretty amazing. The beef short rib bourguignon is quite good as well. We didn't order wine but I did see some French wine selection on the board that appears to be special (judging by the price). Service was good as well. Will definitely go back whenever I miss French food.
